Children from 3rd to 6th class walked down to Naul village and helped pick up litter with their teachers. They did a great service to the community. It was wonderful for the children to be involved in taking care of and taking pride in their locality.
The Tidy Towns committee kindly lent the school their litter picker tools. The children got great physical activity doing their clean up as well as their walk to and from the school.
Juniors to 2nd class did a tidy up of litter around the school grounds.
Doing gardening, manual work, cleaning, etc is also a form of exercise.
All the children did a great job. Well done everyone!
