Computer Science Week 2022

Last week saw the inaugural Computer Science week in Ireland. To mark this the children in 5th and 6th class took part in Hour of Code. They thouroughly enjoyed this and all got a certificate for participating. Here are the links for some of the games created by the children in the class:

Ocean Studies in Athas

The children in Áthas have been exploring and leanring about the ocean. We looked at sea creatures, learned about their ocean habitats and listened to the sounds they make. We expanded our vocabulary and learned lots! We also enjoyed ocean themed sensory play annd art.
