Senior infants had a a great day celebrating World Book Day, as did the rest of the school. In the morning they got to interview each classmate and try to guess what character they came to school as. They loved showing off their outfits which some helped to make and decorate prior to the day.
Throughout the day, they had the opportunity for reading time which they normally love to do but it was more special as they got to enjoy their favourite book. There were lots of opportunity too for reading to the class, as some read a page or 2 to their classmates. At the end of the day they got to work on desinging their own book covers for Art to go with the characters they had designed a few weeks ago.
