We have been getting up to lots this Christmas!
We made the short trip to Balbriggan to see Cinderella performed in The Lark Concert Hall. Rang a Trí – Rang a Sé travelled to Blanchardstown Arena for their Peace Proms practice session before the show next February.
Children crafted decorations to go up around the school, there was also a Christmas door competition – Congratulations to Ms. Scott’s class who took the win!
The Parent’s Association ran a very successful ‘Bikeathon/Skipathon & Cake sale which was a fruitful fundraiser for the school – Huge thanks to those who organised and helped out in any way! The Parent’s Association also organised the Christmas trees for the school which really helped bring about the festive feel as we get closer to the big day!
The School’s Christmas shows took place on Thursday 12th December and what a success they were! There were laughs, singing, Irish dancing and crazy costumes in the mix! The pupils, teachers and SNA’s worked tirelessly over the last while to get the production up and running.
Pupils have also been learning about Advent and how it is a time to slow down, reflect and prepare to celebrate Jesus’s birth. This has contributed to pupil’s wellbeing, understanding and experience of themselves and their faith.
