Visit to Naul Community Centre

The children in 3rd and 4th class were invited to the Naul Community centre to meet some senior members of the community. They were kindly taught how to play Boules by some of the members.

Many thanks to the community members for their hospitality. The children had great fun socialising with them and learning a new activity.

The children also enjoyed the lovely walk down to the community centre. The weather was beautiful and the children enjoyed talking to one another as they walked.

Active School Playground Leaders

A huge thankyou to our Active School Playground Leaders who are a great help to the teachers, SNA’s and the Active Line Leaders.

The Active School Playground Leaders are an important part of the Active School Team.

This year we appointed Active School Playleaders to help the Active School Committee. As the Active Line Leaders are doing exercises with their class lines, the Playleaders collect and tidy playground equipment.

They also bring equipment out to the yard. This ensures that the Active Line Leaders can focus on their class lines. The role of the Active School Playleaders is to help ensure that playtime equipment is organised and tidied efficiently.

Naul N.S would like to thank the Active School Leaders for their great help and dedication which

helps drive the whole school effort towards achieving the Active School flag.

We are lucky to have such a wonderful team!

Playground Leaders

In order to help the smooth running of Active yards, the playground leaders help the teachers and SNA’s bring out, monitor and collect P.E equipment for Active Yard breaks.

There is a rota for P.E equipment.

The yard and football pitch is zoned into areas.

Each class plays in a designated area and is assigned different P.E equipment on different days so that it is rotated fairly and so that it can be sanitised before use by the next group.

Many thanks to our Playground Leaders and our Active Line leaders who help ensure that playtime filled with a choice of equipment which encourages increased physical activity and fun!
