Seachtain na Gaeilge was a great success. All classes learned poems and songs as Gaeilge.  Lots of Gaeilge was spoken throughout the week, including at breaktimes and during P.E!   All the children enjoyed all the extra learning activities as Gaeilge.    

The children from Seomra Sonas and 2nd Class made their First Confession on Tuesday 12th of March. It was a special occasion and the children did fantastic. They are now looking forward to making their First Holy Communion in May.

The children from 3rd to 6th class have been taking part in a 6 week course of swimming lessons. They are having fun learning swimming skills and water safety!

The student council and Ms Carney organised a bake sale. They raised almost 800 euro. The student council will decide what PE equipment/ playground equipment should be purchased with these funds. Thank you for all the support.

We had our annual Christmas Show yesterday in Clann Mhuire. It was a fantastic display of all the wonderful talent in our school. We hope you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas!
