Gingerbread houses
Check out our lovely Gingerbread houses we made in 2nd class. We recycled old milk cartons to make these. The children put in lots of effort over a few weeks!

Penguins!
Áthas had great fun studying penguins this term. We looked at their diet and habitat. We also looked at the physical features of the adults and the baby penguins. The children enjoyed creating different pieces of art inspired by penguins.

Aodhan from Heritage Ireland came to visit. He had very interesting artefacts from irish history and told many interesting stories. The children loved his visit. We also made lovely Halloween wreaths.
