Sports Day

On the 20th of June we held our annual Sports Day. All the children came out to watch the races and cheer others on. We finished with a water fight, which was great fun. A great day was had by all. Below are some photos of the day.

Music in the Classroom

We had the pleasure recently of welcoming in John Murphy to the school. John  brought in some wonderful instrument including the clarinet and saxaphone. He explained how the instruments work and treated the children to some beautiful pieces of music. Many thanks to John for giving up his time to come and visit.

Science Investigations in Sonas

The children in Sonas were busy making mixtures this week. They looked at what could be separated and not separated. They also investigated the impact of mixing and heat. These investigations lead to us making fruit smoothies, giant bubbles and honeycomb!
